English Language Arts
The ELA curriculum centers around four bands:
*Language as Sense Making
*Language as Exploration and Design
*Language as Power and Agency
*Language as System
Français
The three main skills explored in the new French curriculum are:*To determine and explore the meaning of ideas and information
*To express oneself in a variety of situations and with a variety of intentions
*To develop an identity as a French Immersion learner
In both languages, students will be reading, writing, speaking, critically thinking, representing, listening and viewing.

Students will be evaluated on their learning behaviours using the following scale:
