Fais la lecture autonome.2) Dis le vire-langue suivant à haute voix trois fois :

3) Vérifie la page FRANÇAIS pour voir la photo <<Jouons avec les mots>> avec quelques exemples. Aujourd’hui c’est à toi! Trouve deux mots qui peuvent se combiner ensemble pour faire un nouveau mot. Écris et dessine le mot résultant.
English Language Arts:
1) Read a novel of your choice independently for at least twenty minutes.
2) Work on writing your book review. You should have started your first draft in your writing notebook. See the ELA page for the components of a book review.
3) Choose an idiom - see the page below for inspiration.

If you're unsure, here's an example: raining cats and dogs literally means cats and dogs falling from the sky. Raining cats and dogs figuratively means it's pouring rain.

For Parents:
Maths: Students should practice estimating multiplications with decimal numbers.Students have two pages to complete about integers - either by printing the pages or by simply writing down the answers on a page. Students could play an integer practice game - Integer War is my favorite: same rules as the card game War, but all the red cards are negative numbers!
French: Students should do some independent French reading. There is a list of options on the Francais page. Students should say out loud several times today's tongue twister. Students should then combine two words of their choice which are linked by a matching sound (like water + terrific) to create a new word (waterrific) and represent it with a drawing.
Science: Students have today and tomorrow to complete this task. Students should access the Canadian Space Agency site to read the information and watch the short clips about the food astronauts eat. They should write down the facts in their duotang.
Social Studies: Students should read the information about D-Day. They should then watch the indicated intervals of the first documentary, and the first ten minutes (or more) of the second documentary. Please be aware that the documentaries have actual video footage of the war and a mild language warning.
