3)  How important are emojis? (That's your topic)
Click the link below to see the OREO graphic organizer. It's "triple stuffed" because you need to think of three different reasons to support your opinion.
OREO triple stuffed page

Jot down your thoughts. Later this week we'll be using these ideas to write a persuasive essay, so the more details and examples you have - the better!

Sciences de la nature:

Pas de travail aujourd'hui.

Sciences Humaines:

For Parents:
Maths: Students should complete the attached pages. Today we are practicing multiplying decimal numbers to calculate the perimeter of a shape.

French: Students should do their daily independent French reading. Students should do their daily oral French practice - today they should try reading a poem out loud. Students should then do some journal writing in their notebook: is it important to laugh every day? Why?

Science: No assignment today.

Social Studies: Students should complete the last two pages in their duotang by researching about the Victoria Cross. On the first page they need to explain what is the Victoria Cross and then list the 16 men who were awarded the Victoria Cross during World War II. On the second page they should research two men: where and when he was born, why he won the Victoria Cross, one other interesting piece of information, where and when he died. The attached information pages were formatted to be a booklet, so some of the information is out of order.  Students may find this text difficult to read - they should simply try their best. They can have all week to complete the pages, but when they have, they should them to Mme McKenzie.
