1) Read a novel of your choice independently for at least twenty minutes.

2) Yesterday you read an article about inventing holidays and filled in the Double OREO graphic organizer. Today you'll use those ideas to write your paragraphs. Please go to the ELA page to see the step-by-step directions! 

3) Send your first draft from today or from last week (about Earth Day) to Mme McKenzie at laura.mckenzie@sjasd.ca

For Parents:

Maths: Students should complete the attached pages by multiplying decimal numbers. As always, if they can't print, they can write down the answers on another page. The answers will be posted tomorrow. There is also a game to play if time allows.

French: Students should do their daily independent French reading - by trying the new Je Lis site. Students should do their daily oral French practice - today they should try using all the words to make two different sentences.
Students should then watch the short attached video and work through the attached verb pages. They do not need to print these pages.

Science: No assignment today.

Social Studies: No assignment today.

Maths: Students have two math pages to complete. They have to explain the equality of balances. Once finished, students should send their work to Mme McKenzie.

French: Students should do their daily independent French reading by trying out the Je Lis site. Students should do their daily oral French practice by saying a tongue twister out loud - there is a list of options on the Francais page. Then, students should do some creative writing - they have to invent the recipe for a wizard's potion using the ingredients and equipment indicated and the verbs we are working on.

Science: No assignment today.

Social Studies: No assignment today.
